Leonel Rojas joined the gas treatment and microalgae research group as a PhD researcher. His research will be focused on wastewater treatment by membrane photobioreactors and the further optimization of the phototrophic biomass.

Musavir Rafiq joined the gas treatment and microalgae research group as a visiting PhD researcher. His research will be focused on the production of VFAs from polylactic acid and further transformation into PHA.
