Meet our new researchers
Luz Yañez joined the gas treatment and microalgae research group as a PhD student under a co-supervision regime between the University of Valladolid and the University of the Andes (Chile). Her research focuses on the development of new alternatives metabolic pathways for the production of hydroxyalkanoates.
Felipe Carreño joined the gas treatment and microalgae research group as a PhD student under a co-supervision regime between the University of Valladolid and the University of the Andes (Chile). His research focuses on the improvement of the hydrodynamic behavior of the support material in the biotrickling filtration of hydrophobic volatile organic compounds by studying the effect of the biomass growth and the mass transfer using computational fluid dynamic simulations.
